Gearing up for their twelfth album on March 13, 2012.

They have been brutalizing fans for over twenty years with their aggressive form of death metal and they show no signs of slowing down. Cannibal Corpse is gearing up for the release of their twelfth album on March 13, 2012 entitled Torture. Decibel Magazine has the album listed in their “Top 25 Most Anticipated Extreme Records of 2012”. Hate Eternal’s Erik Rutan is again at the helm as producer on this latest endeavor. The album cover follows a long series of gore-tastic covers by fan favorite and longtime artist Vincent Locke.

The band has long prided themselves with their ultra violent lyrics and imagery. The band sees no difference in their music and watching a good horror movie and they even parallel each other. Will this new assault offered by the band continue in a long line of classics including “Meat Hook Sodomy” and “Born in a Casket”? You will have to wait until March to find out, but the guys have never been one to tone down their material over the years.
